Bumbo Booster Seat Review and Giveaway

Unknown | 5:03 PM | | |

You know, finding a booster seat can be a pain sometimes... I've had one booster seat in the past for my oldest when he was younger and honestly, I hated it. I would rather have him sit up on his legs then use the booster seat we had. It's was similar to the ones that they have in a restaurant. The ones that slip if the child moves the wrong way and of course, no straps to keep them seated. Then there are those that just strap on the back of the chair, but still move and that can be dangerous. I was contacted by Bumbo to do a review on their booster seat and to be honest, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure if this was going to be the "right" one.

Above are a few images of what the seat looks like and how it's also supported on the chair. As you can see, there are straps on the seat so you can strap your child in while they are eating. Another feature that I enjoy the most is the straps on the side that hold the booster seat in from the back and the bottom. At first, I couldn't figure out how the hell to strap the booster seat on the chair. Well, until I read the how-to on it, lol. Yes, I had a duh moment there, but we all have those moments, right?

Once I had it figured out I had my youngest son give is a shot and see what happens. I don't usually strap him in because he tends to move a LOT! Strapping him in is pointless as well because he's already mastered the straps, lol. Kids I tell ya! Anyways, I had him move around a bit on the seat and you know what? It never moved! I mean, this seat was so secure, it didn't budge one bit. Well, it moves just a tad, but not to the point where it seat ends up hanging off the edge of the chair. The strap that goes under the chair is the key to keeping the booster seat in place. Without this strap on the bottom, your just getting a loose booster seat that's supported only by the back of the seat. Like I said, it helps a lot to have the bottom strap under the chair!

And here we have my youngest on the booster seat. Doesn't he look so happy, lol. He wasn't in a picture taking mood... He's a camera phoebe. But as you can see he's propped up real nice in the booster seat. One thing I find pretty funny is how he tells everyone that it's his seat and no one is to sit on it but him, lol. Out of all the booster seat searching and the headache of finding the right one, I would have to say the Bumbo booster seat is the best choice. I know some may say otherwise, but from what I've reviewed, I enjoy the seat a lot and my youngest can sit at the table without having to sit up on his legs.
