1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (4 to 8 lemons juiced, depending on size)
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
8 cups water
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine sugar and one cup water and stir. Place bowl in microwave and heat for one to one and a half minutes. You need sugar to be completely dissolved. Once water and sugar is combined and there are no sugar crystals, set bowl aside and let cool.
- Squeeze lemons by hand or with a juicer. Remove all seeds and leave the pulp (optional). Once juice is squeezed, pour juice into a pitcher with the remaining 7 cups of water. Pour sugar water into pitcher and stir.
- When adding rose water, add enough for flavor. I added about 1 tablespoon to the lemonade. You can add more or less if you want. Once rose water is added, stir lemonade and place in the fridge. Let it sit for a few hours to allow all ingredients to combine and then enjoy!
