 About this product:

Super Hemp Seeds contain essential fatty acids in a balanced 3:1 ratio. It's high is dietary fibers and also has 20 amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids promote heart health, lower triglycerides, reduce inflammation, promote brain health and support the immune system. It's delicious buttery taste will enhance the flavor of any salad or dish. Hemp seeds are considered by many nutritionists as natures most perfect food. It's low in carbohydrates and it's ideal for the paleo diet or who need to be carb cautious in their diet. Did you know that hemp seeds contains more protein than one large hard boiled egg? It's true and its a great addition to vegan and vegetarian diets as well.

Here are some hemp facts:
  • Super Hemp is super good in recipes, toppings or raw
  • Super Hemp contains more protein and omegas and less carbs than the same serving of Chia seeds or Flax
  • Super Hemp packs a perfectly balanced dose of both Omega 3 and Omega 6 (10g omegas per 28g serving)
  • Super Hemp is RAW, shelled, USDA-certified-organic hemp seeds
  • Super Hemp is Cold-processed (under 104°F) from raw, live hemp seeds

  • Super Hemp is a product of Canada

What I have to say:

I've eaten hemp seeds in the past and to be honest, they aren't as bad as I thought they would be. It was a different brand that I had tried, but the difference between that brand and the Super Hemp brand is the taste.

I've noticed with the Super hemp seeds, they are fresh. The other brand seemed a bit dry and they weren't as flavorful. With the Super hemp seeds, you get a moist and buttery taste. In a way they remind me of sunflower seeds because they have the texture of the seed without the crunch and they taste like them as well. One thing I like to do in the mornings before I have breakfast is take a spoonful of hemp seeds and eat them raw. Or, sometimes I add a spoonful of seeds to my oatmeal and that adds a nice texture and flavor.

There was a recipe that I seen for the hemp seeds that I wouldn't mind trying. It's for Banana Hemp Sushi and it looks quite tasty!

  1. I would love to experiment with recipes using hemp seeds. I did use them once to make energy bars and they are amazing - they aren't too hard and just right, esp for no-cook bars!!!

  6. I would like to win because I am currently using Flax seeds, but did not know that the Super Hemp contains more protein and omega's. This sounds much better than the Flax seeds.
