Geek Fuel Mystery Box for April / Featuring DC Comics, Marvel and Avengers: Age of Ultron

It's another month of geeky goodness and Geek Fuel has topped off another great box for this month! You know, since I started receiving Geek Fuel every month, I have become a geeky subscription box junkie! I get so antsy and excited and so... I guess you can say I'm just hyped about their boxes. I even go as far as to checking out the window 500 times to see when the mail carrier is here. Yes, I know... But, what can I say, lol.

This months box featured a few things in it and I know some of you that received your box are quite the lucky ones. 1 in 40 people that received their box this month also received a Fandango gift card so they can see the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. I, unfortunately was the unlucky one and I didn't get the gift card. BUT, I did receive some pretty awesome items though.

Star Wars Jelly Belly

Description: Time for a tasty treat from our intergalactic team! Jelly Belly and Star Wars get together to bring you the perfect snack for traversing the universe.

My thoughts: I've always been a fan of Jelly Belly since I was a kid. I mean come on, they are the best jelly beans in the world! They are so delicious and the amount of flavors they have is endless. I remember when they used to sell the grossed out jelly beans in the store and oh my goodness were some of those nasty. I did like the grass and dirt jelly bean though. Tasted so much like the real thing and it reminded me of my childhood making mud pies and eating grass.

Yes, I ate grass. I was the kid that ate anything and I love bringing it up to people because they get so grossed out by it. Anyways, Jelly Belly has always been the best when it comes to jelly beans and I was excited to see the whole Star Wars theme on their package. Not only that, but the jelly beans sparkle! I was going to save this pack and keep it as a souvenir, but I gave it to my youngest instead. Of course he scarfed down the whole pack, but he did enjoy them.

Candy Sticks

My thoughts: Growing up, we never called these candy sticks. You know what they called? Candy cigarettes! It was a big thing when I was a kid and we used to think we were cool with them. I even remember when my mom found out that I picked up on a bad habit, she bought me a box of candy sticks and told me to smoke them instead of a cig... Yeah... Um... Thanks mom?!

See what little things like this can do? They bring back memories of your childhood and past that you forget about... Not that it's an issue or anything, it's just that some things you forget about till you see that item again and BAM!

Memory... Overload...

Any who, it was nice to see these candy sticks again. It's been years since I've had one too. I honestly didn't know if they still made them. As for the packaging, I'm digging the artwork on the boxes. These boxes I'm saving, but as for the candy itself, well, the kids ate all of it.

Kingdom Wars Battles Downloadable Game Code and Sticker Sheet

Description: Whether playing alone, or by building your massive multiplayer online team, this ever-evolving game will keep you interested long after the first siege has been won.

My thoughts: I've always been a fan of computer games and the one thing I love about Geek Fuel is that they give you a free game in each box. This is the third game that I've received from them and I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't played it yet, but it's been downloaded of course. I'm thinking I'd start it over the weekend if I have some time. The other two games I received are great games! So I'm sure this one is going to be just as good.

DC Comics Series 3 Scribblenauts Unmasked

Description: Based off the looks from the Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure game, these Justice Leaguers are ready to share in your next outing to save the world!

My thoughts: When it comes to DC Comics, I only know so much. I'm not a raging fan like one of my good friends, but I do like a lot of DC movies, games, comics and more. My favorite DC characters are Batman and Superman. Oh man! I can not wait to see the new movie with those two. It's going to be EPIC! I'm sorry Batman fans, but I'm rooting for Superman, lol.

Now, as for the little figure that came in the Scribblenauts box, I received the Green Lantern. Isn't he adorable? I just love how cute he is. And the stand he comes with is a notepad with a pencil. From what I've seen, all the Scribblenauts characters in the third series all have the same stand. I had my little friend on the shelf in my room, but now he's back in the box because the kids tried stealing him from me... Uhm kids, he's mine!

Breakstuff Club Coffee Mug

Description: Everyone knows the locker room is where personalities shine. Like a newly formed high school clique, this crew each holds their own special place in the lineup.

My thoughts: At first, when looking at this mug, I wasn't sure what it stood for. But after looking at it closer, I seen that each locker is fit for certain characters in the Marvel world. Suck as Iron Man, Spider Man, Captain America and so on. The lockers on this mug are creative and of course firsts a certain character. I'd have to say out of all the lockers, my favorite would have to be "Basket Case" and "Brain".

Geek Fuel Featured T-Shirt / Turtles Assemble / Exclusive Turtles Assemble T-Shirt

Description: This is what happens when teams take on teams. They team up to create a super team. One that challenges ne're-do-wells, eat pizza in sewers, and avenges crime everywhere they go.

My thoughts: Geek Fuel has yet again added another amazing shirt to my collection of printed tees. When it comes to my clothes, I don't like bland. It's gotta have something on it like writing and pictures. The geekier the shirt is, the better. I've always been a fan of TMNT since I was a kid and no matter how old I am, I will watch it and love it. The unique thing about this shirt is that all of the turtles and April are dressed up: Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America, Iron Man and Thor.

If I got the "costumes" wrong, please... feel free to correct me, lol. Anyways, I enjoy this shirt a lot. It's different and different is good!

Lately, it seems that every box that I've been getting from Geek Fuel lately have been worth it. I enjoy receiving these boxes monthly and I love all the great items they include. Especially the shirts! That is one of the things I look forward to most.
